Yeah, so it's not new or overly hip, but I'd forgotten just how awesome this song is; I'm also loving the Williamsburg Bridge cameo at the start of the video - Billysburg always makes everything better.
First of all, sincere apologies for my lack of posts as of late. My only explanation is that I'm a lazy American now. Soz n' chips.
Anyway, just a quick one about how (bordering on embarrassingly) excited I am for the Spielberg/Jackson extravaganza of The Adventures of Tintin: Secret Of The Unicorn.
Those who have known me since prep school may recall my entire Tintin outfit, complete with matching satchel featuring Snowy; it wasn't fancy dress, just a great free advertising scam for the Belgian comic book industry.
I now limit my merchandise intake to band aids and books.
Here's a sneak of the latest trailer.
The film's released December 23rd - a pretty fucking awesome early Christmas present if you ask me.
Last night I saw Nobunny play at the Knitting Factory in Williamsburg.
This is basically a lo-fi punk band made up of rabbit- mask-wearing (I don't really get it either) Californian men in their early to mid thirties, fronted by an individual who thinks it's perfectly acceptable to go onstage in nothing more than a cropped leather biker jacket and a pair of ill fitting underpants; regardless of the raging hard-on you may, or may not, be sporting. (He was.)
It's a good look and their music is even better.
Please excuse the tragic photos, but just blame Steve Jobs #iPhonetillIdie
